Eduardo Sell Gonçalves profile picture
Ph.D. in Physics from the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo (USP), working in optics and photonics with emphasis on nonlinear optics, integrated photonic devices, and light–matter interactions at the nanoscale. Experienced in both experimental and numerical investigations of ultrafast and nonlinear processes in nanomaterials, including magnetic nanoparticles, perovskite quantum dots, and two-dimensional materials. Currently develops research on integrated photonic microresonators, focusing on optical parametric oscillation, dispersion engineering, phase matching, and nonlinear dynamics for quantum technology applications. Research interests include degenerate optical parametric oscillators (DOPOs), binary phase-state dynamics, squeezed-light generation, and advanced photonic devices for quantum information and photonic computing.
